Policies
Cookie Policy
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Your cart is stored in your own browser, essential cookies keep staff and account holders signed in, and functional cookies remember the language you chose and your answer to the welcome form.
Draft template — to be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before publication. Items shown in [square brackets] are company-specific details that are still to be confirmed.
This policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar browser storage.
Cookies
- Essential cookie (staff only): when authorised HM Agrione staff sign in to the administration area, a secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps them signed in. It is not set for regular visitors.
- Account cookies (hma_account, hma_acct): set only when you log in to a supplier or buyer account. hma_account is a secure, HTTP-only, signed session cookie that keeps you logged in — until you close the browser, or for 30 days if you tick "Keep me logged in". hma_acct only tells the page to show "My account" instead of "Login". Both are removed when you log out.
- Visitor counter cookie (hm_visit): when a page opens, the footer's visitor counter counts your visit once and sets this cookie for 24 hours so the same visit is not counted again. It holds no personal data — only "1" — and the counter is a single total; no one is identified or followed.
- Welcome form cookie (hm_welcome): set only when you send the welcome form, and kept until you close your browser, so you are not asked again in the meantime. It contains no personal data.
- Language preference cookie (hm_lang): set only when you use the language switch. It stores "en" or "hi" for one year and is used only to open the website in the language you chose. It is a functional cookie and is not used for tracking.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Browser local storage
- Your cart: items you add to your cart are saved in your browser's local storage so your cart is still there when you return. This data stays on your device and is sent to us only when you submit an order request.
- Farming Profit Calculator: the numbers you enter are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there after a reload. They stay on your device; "Clear" removes them.
- You can clear it at any time by emptying your cart or clearing your browser's site data.
Third-party services
- Fonts and images are served from this website's own domain.
- If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp or open our Instagram page, you will leave this website and WhatsApp's or Instagram's own privacy policy and cookies will apply.
- Maps: when you open the map of one of our cultivation districts, the map is loaded from Google Maps — only then, not before — and Google's privacy policy and cookies apply to it.
Changes
If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required before setting them.
